EHCP Appeal Support and Advocacy Service
EHCP 4 Kids is a professional service to support parents through the EHCP process. We understand first-hand how challenging it can be to navigate the complex system of getting the right support for a child with SEN. We have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the EHCP process and legal framework when it comes to special educational needs and disabilities.
EHCP 4 Kids can help you through the EHCP Process in many ways. We offer guidance and support, represent you during appeals, gather evidence, fill out paperwork, prepare for meetings, and attend meetings/annual reviews.
Depending on the service that you need, we can liaise with professionals involved in the EHCP process, such as local authorities, schools, therapists, medical professionals, and any other relevant parties. We will present your case effectively.
We believe that children should not just be coping at school. They should thrive, children with special educational needs and disabilities should be supported, and the right provisions should be made for them at school.
EHCP 4 Kids offers a range of services , including drafting the needs assessment request, EHCP draft checks, drafting your grounds for appeal, representing you during the appeal, letter drafting, and general advice/support.
Please call us on 07375 829732 to book a 20-minute consultation to see if we can support you.
"I found Linda when I was feeling quite overwhelmed by the complexity of navigating the system in working to get my year 9 son’s EHCP reviewed at an emergency review.
As a practicing mental health professional I thought I had the competency to do a good job myself- however I soon realised I was emotionally compromised and was finding it difficult to differentiate between what was the priority - and how to navigate the parallel agendas and how to be efficient with my time an energy.
Linda has been a rock … calm, focused and quick to grasp the priority of need. She offered a balance to my emotional need to get justice with the greater need to get my son out of the toxic environment in the most efficient way. Choosing how, when and if to go into battle has been key in this process.
Holding off from my need for the injustice to be recognised in a system that isn’t interested in justice has been a hard lesson and the clinical unemotional track (with understanding) has been what has delivered a more streamlined progression. I fear without Linda’s focus I may have been trying to fight too many battles at once and the may have risked losing the opportunity to extricate my son in the most efficient way. We were able to secure 3 wins at the review… including an agreement for a move to a specialist SEN provision. We are now in the consultation process and I am confident that we have done all we could have to this point to ensure the most positive outcome for my son. This is a painfully complicated process for any parent - but I knew that when Linda was involved it would be focused , concise and on point. Thank you Linda"

"I can wholly recommend Linda at EHCP 4 Kids she simply is an amazing person! Linda found flaws in my son's EHCP. She was calm and extremely professional. She got the EHCP overturned from mainstream to specialist setting and also got the school we wanted to be named without getting to the tribunal hearing. She took the stress away from us as a family and broke down barriers and brick walls the local authority had built. Thanks to Linda, my son's life has been turned around, and he will now access an education. He now has a much brighter future ahead of him. I will be forever grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to use EHCP 4 Kids if I ever need their services again. - ‘simply amazing’”
Lauren, Nottinghamshire.
"Linda’s ability to simplify complex matters into straightforward terms was a lifesaver. She dedicated time to reviewing every detail and offering practical recommendations. She has invaluable lived experience of the process and is pragmatic and empathetic as a result. Without her guidance and support, we would have been lost in the EHCP process. She helped us to make crucial amendments, and we can't thank her enough for her help and expertise."
Susie, London
I can highly recommend EHCP4kids. At a time when I was feeling like I had no where to turn, Linda at EHCP4kids was a fantastic support. Her knowledge and experience is fantastic and she was able to identify gaps in my son's EHCP application, especially from the school's report, which I hadn't previously identified. Her calm and methodical approach made it easy to provide information. Ultimately the appeal letter produced resulted in my son being granted a needs assessment without having to attend an appeal hearing.

"Linda has been immensely helpful in navigating me through the EHCP appeal process and her expertise invaluable. She helped me to pinpoint and was able to put into words the information needed to put our case forward to the appeal panel so that we could get our daughter into an SEN school after almost a year of her refusing to attend the mainstream school she was at which did not meet her needs. As a parent of a child with SEN, having the additional burden of fighting for your child to get the support they are entitled to can feel like climbing a mountain without any training or the right equipment! Linda simplified the appeal process, spent time explaining it all and gave us the confidence to keep going. Our case was accepted thanks to Linda and our request for an SEN school has been accepted before going to tribunal. Thank you!"
Lucy, North Yorkshire
"Linda has been a lifeline to me. The Local Authority refused to assess my teenage daughter, Linda helped me do the appeal, and now my daughter has an EHCP for 20 hours a week for a specialist school. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Linda’s help"
Vicky, Surrey
"I contacted EHCP4kids for some help and guidance. I felt listened to and reassured from the first phone call. It was a huge relief to find someone who could help, who was kind and knowledgeable and who gave us the time we needed. I would highly recommend EHCP4kids to any parent who is trying to navigate the minefield of SEN education"
